The surrounding countryside is part of The Cotswold Area of Outstanding Beauty, with the Two Valleys Walkway being amongst the most popular of trails. Freshford can also be reached by foot or bicycle along the Kennet & Avon Canal. Or simply sit and take in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
