Devonshire Tunnel

The Devonshire Tunnel is on the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway path, connecting the southern suburbs of Bath and Oldfield Park to the top of Combe Down village. It is one of the tunnels in the Two Tunnels Greenway. It originally opened in 1874 when it formed part of the working railway, closing to the rail network in 1966, eventually becoming the public pathway it is today.

The tunnel is paved and well-lit, making it suitable for walkers, joggers, cyclists, and families.
