Pulteney Bridge

The Puteney Bridge is one of the most photographed places in Bath due to it's spectacular Georgian architecture.

The bridge is one of only four in the world that has both shops and restaurants located across the whole of the bridge, making it the perfect place to visit as a family.

The bridge was named after Frances Pulteney, Wife of Johnstone Pulteney who was a very important man in Georgian Bath as who owned most of the surrounding area

This is definitely worth a visit not only to explore the bridge and take in all it's history but to enjoy the beautiful views.

You can also enjoy regular boat trips from the bridge that head upstream to Bedhampton.
