Throughout the summer holidays, No.1 Royal Crescent will be running free* summer activities for children in the servants' hall! *accompanied by a paying adult.
Wednesday 9 August: Frame it!
Get inspired by No. 1 Royal Crescent's Georgian portraits. Make a silhouette portrait and design your own frame to take home.
Wednesday 16 August: Super Stuffed Toys
Join this fun session with Share and Repair. Make a stuffed toy from scrap material.
Wednesday 23 August: Capes and Costumes
Learn how to reuse worn out items with Share and Repair. Turn old clothes into fabulous fancy dress costumes!
Wednesday 30 August: Pattern and Print
Find out about Georgian design and printing. Make and print your own design using recycled materials.
Activities will be running from 10:00 - 12:30 in the Servants' Hall. Suitable for ages 5+. All Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In addition to these weekly themed crafts, No. 1 Royal Crescent will be running a self-led 'create your own pop-up museum' craft session in their gallery. Children can create their own pop-up museum card and choose which objects to include. This craft will take place Tuesday-Sunday, between 22 July and 31 August.
The craft gallery is adjacent to the museum's new dressing up experience, The Georgrobe; children and adults alike can try on costumes and take their photos against the backdrop of a stunning new wall mural!
All crafts are drop-in – no booking required!
