Solar Observing: Summer Solstice with the Bath Astronomers
Celebrate the summer solstice with daytime astronomy at the Herschel Museum of Astronomy, where the planet Uranus was discovered in 1781. On Saturday 21 June, from 10am to 3pm, the Bath Astronomers will be in the museum garden with specialist solar telescopes to help you observe the sun safely. This special event is free with standard museum admission and doesn’t require booking. A unique opportunity to connect with history and science in the very place where astronomical discoveries were made.
