“Power of Trees” at Westonbirt Arboretum is a family-friendly activity event running during May half term where children can discover the “hidden superpowers” of trees, such as fire-resistant bark and natural defences against pests.

It includes interactive, hands-on activities like quizzes, crafting wooden tree badges, and themed learning sessions led by the arboretum’s education team.

The event is aimed mainly at younger children (around age 3+), is drop-in rather than pre-booked, and takes place within the arboretum’s Great Oak Hall area.

It is included in normal admission, making it an easy add-on experience for families visiting during the holiday period.
