Origami Spring Flowers at No.1 Royal Crescent
Celebrate the beauty of spring with a creative family activity at No.1 Royal Crescent this May half term! Inspired by the botanical artistry of The Botanical World of Mary Delany and Georgie Hopton exhibition, and the nature-themed In Bloom exhibition at the Museum of East Asian Art, visitors can drop in to make their own delicate origami flowers. While exploring No.1 Royal Crescent, spot Mary Delany’s intricate botanical “paper mosaiks” and then bring your favourite flower to life through origami folding. Afterward, why not visit the Museum of East Asian Art to see more stunning botanical artwork and take part in their special origami blossom spotters’ trail?
This free drop-in activity is included with museum entry (children go free with a paying adult) and no advance booking is needed—perfect for a relaxing, creative family day out celebrating the wonders of nature and art.
