Next dates
Bath May Holiday Club by Fun Science UK is a hands-on science holiday club for children aged 4–9 during May half term.
The club features fun STEM activities, experiments, and themed science days designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and learning through play. Children can take part in practical experiments, interactive challenges, and messy science activities in a safe, supervised environment run by DBS-checked staff.
Sessions take place at St Barnabas Church Hall in Bath, with optional extended “stay and play” hours available before and after the main sessions.
Tuesday 26th May – Potions and Explosions
Calling all trainee scientists! Have you ever wanted to mix up your own potions and create experiments that look like magic? We will be making smelly potions, glittery potions, experiments that suddenly change colour and lots and lots of fizzing and bubbles.
Wednesday 27th May – Lights, Rainbow, Action!
An exciting day full of colours as we experiment with optical illusions, learn the science behind 3D films, mix some glowing potions and making our own rainbow glasses!
Thursday 28th May – Musical Marvels
Are you a noise-creator or music-maker? Pings, dings, pops, buzzes and other sensational sounds will fill the day as we create musical instruments, listen to our hearts, learn about our eardrums and send soundwaves.
