Looking for a spring day out with plenty to keep the kids busy? Head to Bowood House & Gardens for their BIG Easter Adventure, with a giant egg trail, Easter-themed crafts and extra Easter weekend fun to enjoy.
BIG Easter Adventure | Easter Trail at Bowood House & Gardens

This family-friendly Easter event includes a BIG Egg Hunt around the grounds, where children can search for ten giant eggs hidden along a brand-new trail route. Six eggs hold letters to help crack a mystery word, while the remaining four feature riddles to solve. Once completed, children can head back to Admissions to claim a chocolate treat.
There will also be Easter-themed arts and crafts running throughout the half term, with daily times available from Admissions on arrival.
Easter Weekend Special | 3rd - 6th April
If you're visiting over Easter weekend, there are even more reasons to explore:
Golden Egg Hunt: five golden eggs will be hidden in the grounds each day. Find one and return it to Admissions before 4pm to claim a prize.
Rainbow Egg Challenge: one special rainbow egg will also be hidden each day, with the chance to win a Bundle Option 2 Season Ticket for 2 adults and 2 children.
Trail booklets can be collected on arrival from Admissions. The Easter Trail is included for 2026 Season Ticket Holders, with no need to book in advance.

Day tickets are available online, and Bowood states that House & Gardens day tickets go on sale from 1st March.
