Calm and Confidence for Mums: A Workshop on Reducing Overwhelm
Next dates
Sorry, there are no future dates available
Being a mum of little ones can feel like always being in survival mode, and no matter how much you get through, there’s always more you could be doing. At any given moment there are a hundred different things you’re thinking about, and yet you never have enough time to get them all done. It’s a constant effort to keep all the balls in the air, while in the back of your mind you can’t help but think, “I really need a break. But how?”
In this one-hour workshop with Wellbeing Psychologist Kirsti Gwynn, you’ll discover some simple shifts you can make to find a greater sense of ease and confidence in motherhood.
Some things we’ll talk about:
The 4 main causes of overwhelm for mums (and what to do about them)
Building moments of calm into your day in way that feels surprisingly natural, so you can feel more present and enjoy your time with your little ones more
A key perspective shift that will help you to feel like, “I’m on top of things” more of the time
3 super-easy ways to recharge your batteries whilst being a mum, even though you don't have the time or headspace to think about yourself
Of course, when you’re overwhelmed, the idea of tending to your own needs can feel like “just another thing” added to your to-do list – exhausting when you’re already stretched to your limit! However, the best wellbeing techniques don’t require more effort from you. Instead, they form a safety net you can lean on when you need it, replenishing your energy and leaving you more confident you can handle the more tiring bits of being a mum.
Join us for a cup of coffee or tea and some much-deserved time to restore your calm.
Open to pregnant mums, new mums, and mums of multiples.
All little ones welcome.
