Bath Theatre School was set up by Tom, Adrian and Holly, who each have a huge passion for musical theatre and this can support and develop key skills of young people, along with adding value to the community. 

They have many years of experience, having worked together on numerous theatre productions. But it wasn’t until they became the production team for the hugely successful production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the Theatre Royal, Bath in 2012 that an opportunity became clear. 

Through having to turn away a large number of talented children, they saw the great demand from young people looking to take their theatrical aspirations and ambitions further. It was at this stage they inspired to offer local children a unique theatre school experience unlike anything else on offer in the area, with community at its heart.

Bath Theatre School is the only school in the area to offer nationally recognised musical theatre solo qualifications from Trinity College London as part of our standard teaching - this means ALL Students have the opportunity to take these exams at no extra cost. Other schools either do not offer a nationally recognised learning programme, which builds towards solo entry musical theatre qualifications, or it is only made available at a considerable extra cost in addition to the normal terms fees.

Yet, when you consider we also offer the most comprehensive range of opportunities - we are also the best value for money kids theatre school in Bath.

We believe it's important to be different and that's why Bath Theatre School is constantly working hard to offer its students a unique theatre experience unlike any other group or school in the local area.

By offering Trinity exams in musical theatre as part of our package this ensures all students have the opportunity to develop and take away highly regarded and lasting skills, which will support their personal development, confidence and, if desired, help them pursue their musical theatre aspirations.

Fees

We offer a free no obligation taster lesson for anyone interested in joining. If you would then like to become a permanent student it costs £290 a term to become a student of Bath Theatre School which includes the Trinity examination fee. If you join part way through a term there will be a reduced pro rata fee, which will determined when you join. Termly fees must be paid in advance and can be paid outright or in two instalments.
