Bath Riverside Path
Once you've reached the end of the Bristol and Bath Railway Path, the West Bath Riverside Path (sometimes called the Riverside Walk) can take you from Newbridge all the way into Bath's city centre. Stroll alongside the River Avon on the quiet, tree-lined path, calming and serene - you'd hardly be able to guess that just metres away is the parallel network of Bath's busy roads.
The path contains several entrance and exit points along the way if your aim is to cut into the city before reaching Green Park. This includes the pedestrian Victoria Bridge, which can take you up to Victoria Park, as well as staircases leading up to Norfolk Crescent and Sainsbury's. The path ends at Green Park, near Green Park Station, which can lead on into the city centre (buggy and cycle friendly route) and you can cut through here to rejoin the River Avon along the North Parade and Parade Gardens.
