Bath Lights the Night

Brighten the dark November evenings with the Winter Lantern Procession, hosted by Bath BID and Bath Carnival. This magical event features a musical tour through Bath’s streets, illuminated by handmade lanterns and giant animal puppets crafted by local children, groups such as Achieve Together, and Bath Spa creative students.

The parade will be accompanied by performers in light-up carnival costumes and samba rhythms from Jamma de Samba, culminating in a celebration at Bath Abbey. Inside the Abbey, enjoy a lively concert under the newly installed Light of Stars, featuring the Head Rush Brass Band, comedian Jarred Christmas, and talented local musician Josh Frere.
