This enchanting night out begins at 5pm and we’re laying on some wonderful entertainment for all ages throughout the evening to make your family night really fizz and pop. For the youngsters there will be face painting and children’s entertainers and popular firework night treats to purchase.

Next, make sure you head over to the fun fair for some thrilling rides suitable for youngsters and adults (the fair rides will be cash only). To keep you and your entourage all fed and toasty, check out our special choice of warm snacks, hot drinks and refreshments including bonfire-night favourites listed below. These will be available from the food outlets on site.

The Main Attraction

At approximately 6.45pm the bonfire will be lit and around 7.30pm the pyrotechnics team will light the touch paper and unleash the HUGE 15-minute firework fiesta featuring a dazzling display of rockets, Catherine wheels, fountains and more. And don’t worry, we’ve arranged for an optional covered viewing area to be available so, even if the British winter weather decides to be typically British, you can still enjoy the spectacle. Timings are as follows:
17:00 – Gates to open
18:45 – Course Bonfire to be lit
19:30 – Fireworks to commence
21:00 - Evening ends

Parking is free but a large volume of traffic visits the racecourse for this event, so please allow extra time for travel or make use of the bus service, which runs frequently from Bath City centre.
