Kelston Roundhill Walk

Parks & Walks

One of the best things about Bath is it's close proximity to the countryside, and the ever-popular Kelston Roundhill Walk will give you that break from the city alongside more breathtaking views. On a clear day you'll be able to see all the way to Wales!

The small, rural village of Kelston lies between Bath and Bristol, and the most popular path for walking is just off the Cotswold Way and is roughly three miles round trip. You can also follow a two mile circular route which begins at the Bath Soft Cheese Co. which will take you past the Kelston Mills to the river and then on to the sailing club. Bath Soft Cheese is a family run farm with a cafe, which makes for a nice stop. Walkers are also welcome to use their car park.

If you pass through the village of Kelston you may care to brush up on its great local history - for instance, its tower house is home to the first ever toilet.
