About Foxglove Forest School from their website:
At Foxglove Forest School we believe that through regular exploration of the natural world children can develop their social skills, resilience and empathy. At Foxglove we value each participant’s individuality and want to support children’s self esteem through hands on learning experiences.
We design and deliver Forest School sessions across Bath in Alice Park and Sydney Gardens and love working collaboratively with organisations to create outdoor experiences for adults and children. Our regular sessions are funded by Bath Council.
We have delivered sessions across the country and further afield, recently travelling all the way to Thailand! We can create bespoke sessions for children and adults. Please email us for more information on collaborations!
What can I expect from a parent and toddler session?
The session will start at with a self guided explore of the garden, families are given a kit to explore the garden with and we end with a socially distanced story time.
What happens in wet weather?
Forest School is an outdoor activity so be prepared to be outside! We also have access to some indoor space if the weather, (currently every session will be outdoors) does turn but expect to be outdoors for the entire session. Activities will likely be messy and wet so please dress accordingly.
What shall I wear?
Please bring suitable wet weather clothing and footwear. Waterproof trousers are a good idea to help children enjoy getting muddy!
