Claverton Down Community Hall is located on the eastern outskirts of the City of Bath World Heritage Site adjacent to open countryside, the Green Belt, the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Bath Conservation Area. It is circled red on the map below, lies within the Parish of St Mary's, Claverton, has served the local community since 1958 and is registered with The Charity Commission.

The Hall hosts a wide variety of activities throughout the week and at weekends - click on 'Activities & Events' above for latest details. It is also available for private bookings at competitive rates - click on ‘Book Your Event' to access our new Online Booking System. Forthcoming activities and events are also listed below. The Hall is very popular, so please give the Booking Secretary as much notice as possible. There are 30 marked parking spaces - including two for the disabled - and frequent bus services (to/from the University of Bath) stop outside.

The main body of the Hall measures 14.7 by 7.75 metres. There is a raised Stage area with a Committee Room beyond.

The main entrance incorporates a ramp leading to a large entrance space, toilets (including for the disabled) and baby-changing facilities. There is also a small kitchen with facilities for warming food. A defibrillator is installed just outside the main entrance doors.
